I'm not gonna lie, this #Covid19 #CoronaVirus #pandemic has been the most surreal crisis, I've yet to experienced (and I've been through a lot)!! This has exposed so much in so many people, including myself. Thankfully, my family and I are safely sheltering in place and staying healthy.
Here are some health tips that will hopefully help you cope during these challenging times:
1) Prayerful meditation: It's easy for your focus to get bombarded from so much overwhelming news from every source of media. Distance yourself from social media, etc. Submerge yourself in reconnecting with God and your innate inner strength. Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 40:29-31;Psalm 34:18-19
2)Mental Exercise: Work on both #leftbrain and #rightbrain activities to keep your mental clarity, focus, and motivation going and engaged during these challenging times. Games and problem-solving puzzles are ways to interact with family and take a break for quiet time alone. Reading a book, sewing, playing instruments, drawing/coloring,writing, etc are just a few examples of how you can enhance your creativity with this downtime!
3) Physical Exercise: Whatever what your fitness may be at this current time, use this period of #quarantine to improve your strength and cardio. Utilize #YouTube #IGTV and all of the platforms for free at home workouts. Remember to start out light and build your way up. Don't get over zealous and injure yourselves, we can't get together yet... Here's some good workouts I was able to put together with some inspiration from #Pinterest :
